White sparkling wine obtained from Prosecco grapes and processed following the Charmat method. Its particular texture is achieved from cold maceration. ‘Ruralia Frizzante’ is a light and scented wine, not too rich in carbon dioxide, which can easily adapt to any occasion.

General Characteristics
White sparkling wine obtained from Prosecco grapes originating from a small, select region called Cartizze, of no more than 110 hectares in total. The hillside morphology of the area, as well as exposure to the sun and its particular microclimate, confer a rare, elegant structure to this wine, with a harmonious finesse which is enhanced by the careful Charmat fermentation process.
Althea farm produces its grapes in the Ru de Confin holding, nine hectares on the ancient boundary between Contea di Tarzo and Ceneda, in Confin di Vittorio Veneto.
The morainic hills there were formed by the icy rivers of the Quaternary period.
You will find the holding in one of the most well suited zones for the cultivation of the DOC "Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene" and "Colli di Conegliano".
Four hundred years ago someone wrote:
“…placed in the centre of a multitude of pleasant hills, some of which are partly covered with fertile vines and partly with verdant woods, with abundant beautiful views, there could not be a more delectably situated place for the eye to admire . . .
